Dr. Dre and his estranged wife Nicole Young are in the midst of a divorce and it seems to be getting uglier as the weeks go by. Young filed paperwork in June, citing “irreconcilable differences” and is seeking roughly $2 million a month in temporary spousal support.

Needless to say, the headlines surrounding their split have been messy. But longtime collaborator Xzibit had a few words to say regarding Dre’s character and took them to Instagram on Saturday (September 5).

“@drdre has done so much for so many,” he wrote in the caption. “I will always have the upmost respect for him. He has changed lives and made dynasties. We all we got. Fuck all the dumb shit. That’s it that’s all. XZ.”

Dre and Young were married for over 20 years and have two grown daughters together. Last week, TMZ reported a breakdown of Young’s financial demands that included $135,000 a month for clothes, $20,000 for her cell phone and other technology, $900,000 for entertainment and $10,000 for laundry.

Young is currently holed up in their Malibu home along with chefs and security, while the Hip Hop billionaire continues to support her.

When news of the divorce first broke, it was initially believed the couple didn’t have a prenup, but it turned out Young did sign one prior to their wedding. But according to Young, she was “forced” to sign it and Dre eventually ripped it up, which she says makes it null and void.

“I was extremely reluctant, resistant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner,” Young reportedly stated in the legal docs. “Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre, I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course, with the help of Andre’s team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement very shortly before our marriage.”

Dre and Xzibit, who were tourmates on the infamous Up In Smoke Tour in 2000, have been working together in the studio as recently as last month.
