East Rutherford, NJ – Almost a year ago, Timbaland accepted a beat battle challenge from Swizz Beatz.

At the time, it was unclear when it would go down, but at Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam concert on Sunday (June 10), the battle finally took place before the crowd at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

The duo went back and forth for about 15 minutes with some classics like “Jumpoff” and “Whateva” before Swizz finally threw his hands up and said, “This is to be continued. I ain’t finished with the ass-whipping and I guess he ain’t [either]. There’s too much catalog.”

Swizz later took to Instagram to float the idea of a head-to-head tour between the two legends.

The battle also drew plenty of reaction on Twitter, including from Missy Elliott.
