Beyoncé’s historic performance at last year’s Coachella was an instant classic, and it looks like, with a little luck, the show will be able to live on in full streaming glory. Netflix is teasing a new special about Queen Bey called Homecoming, which will be released on Wednesday, April 17. Besides the yellow color scheme and collegiate font, nothing is known about what to expect from the special, although THR has a lil’ intel: It “may feature her performances” from Coachella, as well as some documentary footage from the behind-the-scenes prep. As Beyoncé’s main theme from these two festival performances was recreating the historically black college experience — through Greek life, marching bands, drum lines, and more — it’s safe to assume Homecoming’s imagery is pointing to this “Beychella” event. Praise be! Praise B!
