Nas and Lil Nas X connected at the 2020 Grammy Awards on Sunday (January 26), teaming up as part of a medley of the latter’s singles “Old Town Road” and “Rodeo.”

Lil Nas X’s star-studded performance also featured contributions from K-pop stars BTS, “Old Town Road” collaborator Billy Ray Cyrus, Diplo and viral sensation Mason Ramsey. Nas emerged at the end of the set, adding a new verse to “Rodeo” for a Grammy remix.

Earlier in the night, Lil Nas X and Cyrus’ hit single won awards for Best Music Video and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Both men had never won a Grammy prior to Sunday.
