We’ve watched him stand on the sidelines as his Made In Chelsea castmates like Francis Boulle and Stephanie Pratt have had their fair share dramas.

But now Fredrik Ferrier is taking centre stage by releasing his first single in time for Christmas.

The handsome model, 27, has announced his new track, the soulful Feliz Navidad (She Stole My Heart), but it’s Fredrik who is likely to break hearts.

Fredrik, who has had success as a TV star, was discovered by Ivor Novello and Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and producer Simon Climie, who co-wrote the song especially for Fred and has been recording with him this year.

Feliz Navidad is a very romantic song, and Fredrik recently flew to the Italian Dolomites to record a snow-filled video to accompany the release.

His honey-smooth vocals transport us to a snow-covered mountain, as he longingly wishes for the girl who stole his heart.

The entrepreneur isn’t looking to be a one hit wonder, however, and he has a second single ready to follow in the New Year that has a more Cuban feel.

Simon Climie has worked with a host global music stars, including Eric Clapton, BB King, George Michael and Aretha Franklin.

Fredrik comes from a musical family, and his highly romantic Nordic good looks come from his unusual background, being half English and half Icelandic.

And he truly is a global citizen, having lived in a variety countries, including Norway, Syria, Denmark and the United States – a superb grounding for an international career.
