Brooklyn rap veteran Lil’ Kim is out here making sure people know she’s no rookie to the rap game. The hip-hop diva received much more than respect on her name this week in New York City.

According to reports, the New York City Council’s Black, Latino and Asian Caucus (BLAC) honored Kim Monday (June 11) night to kick-off the annual African-American Music Appreciation Month festivities.

Last weekend, Lil’ Kim put out her Fabolous-featured “Spicy” visual.

Recently, the New York native proclaimed her greatness across social media.
