Lakers superstar LeBron James took to Instagram to honor the late Nipsey Hussle on Tuesday (September 17). The 34-year-old NBA legend posted a photo of himself in front of an ocean, wearing a custom-made royal blue jersey with the slain rapper’s infamous “Crenshaw” slogan across the front.

The garment also features LeBron’s longtime number, 23, alongside a small Nike logo.

Bron captioned the pic with some heartfelt words, saying, “I know you smiling down back at me my G! The Marathon will Always Continue all around the world with me! #TMC” before tagging Nipsey and his long-time girlfriend and mother of his son Kross, Lauren London.

The jersey is reminiscent of a classic Los Angeles Lakers’ throwback uniform. As of now, there haven’t been any reports if the team intends on implementing these for the season.
