Trenton, NJ – As Lauryn Hill continues on The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour, American Express is attempting to gather a debt. According to court docket paperwork obtained by Bossip, the previous Fugee didn’t pay a whopping $371,892.39 bank card invoice.

American Express National Bank alleges Hill didn’t pay for “the worth of products offered and/or providers rendered.” The court docket papers have been reportedly filed earlier this month in New Jersey Superior Court and names Hill’s firm, MLH Touring, as a co-defendant.

Hill has but to publicly reply to the lawsuit.

The “Ex-Factor” singer’s popularity has been marred by controversy over time. More not too long ago, Hill was pressured to defend herself in opposition to Robert Glasper’s declare she stole music for her seminal solo album, 1998’s The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill.

In an epic open letter, Hill denied Glasper’s allegations and warranted her followers she cared about them regardless of her tendencies to indicate up late to her live shows.
