DJ Scratch hit Instagram on Sunday (November 18) and casually requested fellow Hip Hop vet Large Professor for some new music from Main Source, Large Pro’s former group with Toronto producers/DJs Okay-Cut and Sir Scratch. The reply he acquired in all probability shocked him.

To the delight of Main Source followers, Large Pro replied the group was already planning to provide the long-awaited follow-up to 1994’s Fuck What You Think. 

“We’re going to Cali to document high of #New Year,” Pro wrote. “You know I personally (on behalf of the group) would love for You to be part of it #GrandMaster. If the unique would’ve went in response to plan @Tragedy252 @RakimtheGoat and a bunch of others would’ve been half.

“You Know, #Schedule sht. Hopefully everyone seems to be at an important place in life now and we will all rep for the #OriginalRecipe #HipHop all of us Know and #Love #AroundtheWorld #Respect.”

Large Professor Grants DJ Scratch's Wish For New Main Source Music

The group reunited on the high of the 12 months to have a good time the 25th anniversary reissue of Breaking Atoms. The trio’s seminal album featured a then-unknown Nas and Joe Fatayl, amongst others.
