Los Angeles, CA – Nipsey Hussle’s funeral was held at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Thursday (April 11). A procession followed the service, but it wasn’t without violence. According to a tweet from LAPD Police Chief Michel Moore, one person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting that took place as the procession paraded through the streets of L.A.

Moore reports the suspects were driving a gray Hyundai.

“In the midst of this procession we have a multi-4 Shooting at 103 St and Main St.,” he wrote. “Victims are 3 Male Blacks and 1 Female Black – ages from 30-50 years old. Tragically one is deceased. Suspects in gray Hyundai fired on the victims. We must stop this senseless violence.”

Hussle was gunned down on March 31 after alleged killer Eric Holder shot him at least six times as he stood outside of his Marathon Clothing store.

The day after the celebrated Hip Hop artist’s death, countless people gathered at the intersection of Slauson and Crenshaw where the murder occurred. The crowd started to quickly disperse after they heard what sounded like gunshots.

Although there were initially conflicting reports, LAPD later confirmed two people were shot during the melee. A search warrant obtained by TMZ showed one person was hit in the elbow while another was shot in the lower back/buttocks.

Holder was arrested on April 2 and has since pleaded not guilty to the murder. He’s currently being held on a $5 million bond.
