King Von is enjoying the fruits of his labor, and his support system is as well.

The Chicago-bred rhymer revealed he was able to pay off his mother’s car, buy her a new one and purchase a home for her on Monday (April 27). Along with photos of his major accomplishment, Von explained how this was his biggest dream realized.

“I Bought my Mama da new Benz,” Von wrote on Twitter. “I Paid her old car off and now I’m waiting for the approval of dis new house for her.. he Best son in the world Prize goes tooo. Nah fr doe this all a real street Nigga ever wanted to do. Was make they Og proud. I gave he 20 thous too.”

While speaking to RealStreetRadio last month, Von named his OTF label boss Lil Durk (along with Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane) as the inspiration behind his hustle when it comes to making real money from music.

“That’s the first person, him and my homie Duke, I told them I’m going to start rapping and shit,” Von explained. “Durk told me whatever I do I have to go all the way with that shit. If I’m going to do this shit I have to do that shit for real. That’s what he told me.”

In the same interview, Von credited his mom with keeping him safe when he was growing up in the streets of Chicago.

“Chicago in itself is fucked up, you feel what I’m saying?” he said. “For me it was decent, I had my momma with me that made sure I was straight out there. I lost my daddy when I was like 10 and he was in and out of jail. But you know, when you have your momma out there you know you going to be good.”

And now thanks to his success, he gets to pay her back for everything she did.
