Los Angeles, CA – It seems Jordan Peele and the horror subgenre remains to be a wedding made in macabre heaven.

The Hollywood Reporter has realized that the Academy Award-winning Get Out director would be the new narrator/host of CBS’ The Twilight Zone reboot.

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not solely make clear social problems with his time, however prophesied problems with ours,” Peele tells the publication. “I’m honored to hold on his legacy to a brand new technology of audiences because the gatekeeper of The Twilight Zone.”

Originally narrated by Rod Serling, the long-lasting sci-fi collection first hit tv again in 1959 and would go to carve a legacy by turning into a metaphor for all issues bizarre. Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Simon Kinberg’s Genre Films will government produce the Twilight Zone remake alongside Win Rosenfeld, Audrey Chon, Carol Serling, Rick Berg and Greg Yaitanes.

Although no launch date has been specified, manufacturing has been slated to start this fall for a 2019 premiere and the brand new present will stream on CBS All Access together with authentic Twilight Zone episodes.
