Rap-A-Lot OG J. Prince’s ongoing internet feud with YoungBoy Never Broke Again is doing his legacy no favors at the moment.

On Tuesday (June 23), the revered music mogul chastised the 20-year-old rap star for the cold response following an unsolicited intervention after his Texas property was burglarized.

“I see you took my kindness for weakness,” Prince, 54, scolded. “But you a dumb boy with limited thinking abilities and disrespectful, talking slick and acting like you and your brother wasn’t down with me letting it be known your mob ties connect.”

He went on to specify YoungBoy was neither friend nor foe to him going forward — but the internet didn’t care.

For hours, fans weighed in on Twitter, keeping Prince’s name atop the trending topics category with harsh criticism. Given the age difference, many felt the man who once mentored Scarface, the Geto Boys and Floyd Mayweather would have a little more couth when dealing with a young adult.

J. Prince Responds To ‘Dumb Boy’ YoungBoy Never Broke Again: ‘Texas Is My Business’

While YoungBoy has yet to respond to Prince’s rebuttal, he currently has plenty of flagrant co-signs that can safely speak for him, given his previous response of “mind ya fuckin’ business.”

This is unprecedented territory for someone who usually has success stepping into other people’s affairs. Check out just some of the overwhelmingly negative Prince Twitter reactions below.
