Nicki Minaj delivered her new “Hard White” video on Thursday (January 31) and fan theories are working wild. Around the 1:32-minute mark, a black scorpion seems and is promptly ripped aside into a number of items.

Considering Drake’s newest album is known as Scorpion, many followers are assuming it’s a shot on the 6 God.

Although the scorpion scene is temporary, it’s prompted fairly an uproar on Twitter (naturally). Last December, followers observed Drake and Nicki — who’re each a part of the Young Money household — weren’t following one another on social media. Of course, hypothesis began to swirl across the standing of their relationship.

Other theories counsel Black Barbie can also be throwing a shot a perceived rival Cardi B with not solely the road, “I ain’t ever must strip to get the pole place” (a reference to Cardi’s stripper previous) but in addition with the Mike Ho-directed video. Fans consider a lifeless chook falling from the sky is meant to represent Cardi’s fall from grace.

But that’s not all. Toward the start of the visible, a Grammy trophy flashes throughout the display as Nicki raps, “I’m the trophy of the sport/Everybody attempting to win me,” which many have concluded is a diss aimed on the Grammy Awards.

“Hard White” is taken from Nicki’s Queen challenge, considered one of RealStreetRadio’s Most Disappointing Albums of 2018.
