Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles underground Hip Hop staple Myka 9 is back with a new video for “Smyle,” a celebration of West Coast Hip Hop culture.

Shot in L.A. during the annual B-Boy Summit, the visual finds the Haiku D’Etat/Freestyle Fellowship MC posting up with Hieroglyhpics’ Tajai and A-Plus, 2Mex, Ellay Khule and more.

The beat comes courtesy of seasoned producer Freematik and its hypnotic vibe pairs perfectly with Myka’s laid-back vocal style.

“Smyle” is the first single from the duo’s upcoming Teleported 2 project, their follow-up to 2017’s Teleported. Throughout the visual, the Project Blowed OG asks people to smile for the camera to really drive home the concept of the song.

Myka and Freematik first connected while creating soundtrack music for the Dark Moon motion comic series. Teleported 2 continues their psychedelic blend of Hip Hop and electronic music elements.
