Eminem Performs “Venom” From Atop Empire State Building

Eminem joined the musical “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”’s lineup in Brooklyn, where the show returned yesterday. From atop the iconic Empire State Building, the rapper took over the 103 floors to give a unique performance transforming New York City’s skyline.
Eminem’s performance of his title track from the Marvel film “Venom” was a first-of-its-kind light show mapped to the Empire State Building using custom algorithms and created by lighting artist-in-residence Marc Brickman and his team.
Most of Eminem’s performance footage was captured by Google’s new Pixel 3 smartphone which made it possible for award-winning director James Larese to shoot crazy angles on the scene that wouldn’t have been possible with the usual cameras. The Pixel 3’s 4K recording and Fused Video Stabilization were used for smooth and high-quality video. A behind-the-scenes video captured entirely on Pixel 3, is to be released today, and we can’t wait. Watch the incredible performance available below.
