Dubai-based singer/rapper sobhhï, who describes his sound as “Trapsoul Nocturnal,” has dropped a new single titled “Abu Dhabi.” The track will appear on his next solo project, which is tentatively scheduled to be released in early 2020.

“‘Abu Dhabi’ is the first in a series of songs about a toxic relationship with a Scorpio girl,” sobhhï tells RealStreetRadio. “At the time I met her, she was working things out with her boyfriend.

“However, my intro into her life cut that process off immediately and comparisons between us were common (e.g. ‘got a few inches on you’). I would frequently take trips to Abu Dhabi to meet her, nights it would be raining or she would come to me. At the end of the song, you can hear her voice from a voicemail she left me one of those nights.”
