New York Jets fanatic Method Man thinks New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft shouldn’t just stop with Meek Mill. The hip-hop veteran has offered up a big suggestion to the sports executive following his publicized visit to see the Dreamchasers boss.

In a new on-street interview, Mef said he could respect Kraft’s prison stop but said he should consider visiting other jailed people.

“Wow, that’s big,” Method Man said when informed about Kraft pulling through to see Meek. “How could it be [a publicity ploy], Meek doesn’t play football. I don’t see how that could be a publicity ploy and the Patriots don’t play in Philly. They actually lost to the Eagles. … I salute Kraft for doing that. There’s a lot of us that are in jail maybe you should go visit some of them people.” (TMZ)

According to reports, Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney pulled through this week to visit Meek.

Sources at the prison tell us Kenney was spotted leaving the facility Wednesday morning with 76ers owner Michael Rubin, who’s visited several times before… including Tuesday when he brought Patriots owner Robert Kraft to visit the incarcerated rapper. According to the Mayor’s spokeswoman … Rubin invited Mayor Kenney, and the visit with Meek lasted about an hour. We’re told Hizzoner believes the rapper could better serve the community outside prison. (TMZ)

A few hours prior, MMG’s Wale revealed he had a personal conversation with Meek Milly.

This week, Robert Kraft talked about meeting Meek during his stint behind bars.

“He’s an amazing young ma. I know how I’d feel if I were in the situation he is in. He’s very intelligent. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know him over the last two to three years, maybe even longer. Every time I see him, I just come away more impressed – it makes it clear to me we have to do something with criminal justice reform. This kind of case, to be in a situation like this, it’s really bad. It’s just wrong and we have to find a way to correct it and also help the community help themselves. This is just sad. This guy is a great guy and shouldn’t be here.” (CBS Philly)
