Los Angeles, CA – Veteran actor and serial entrepreneur Danny Trejo — best known for his role as Machete in both the Spy Kids films and the titular films of the same name — has announced his latest venture that’s sure to please Hip Hop (and R&B) fans.

In a news release, Trejo announced the debut of Trejo’s Music, a joint venture with producer Edward “E-Dub” Rios and Mexican-American rapper Baby Bash. To celebrate the launch of Trejo’s Music, the label will drop its debut album, Danny Trejo Presents Chicano Soul Shop Volume 1 on Father’s Day, June 16, 2019.

“It’s an honor and blessing to join forces with Danny and Bash on the Chicano Soul shop,” added E-Dub. “We want to continue the mission that we’ve been dedicated to for decades, [which is] kicking down doors and creating opportunities for good people through music and culture.”
