UFC superstar Conor McGregor doesn’t take kindly to shade-throwing. The MMA fighter has responded to a little trolling thrown his way from publicized rival Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Conor went to Instagram Wednesday (June 6) to react to his placement on Forbes and still being under 30.
Money Mayweather went to Instagram Tuesday (June 5) to flex his wealth over Conor and a few other notable sports heavyweights.
Back in March, Floyd talked about the idea of making a career move to MMA fighting.
“I can wrestle,” Floyd says … “My wrestling game is not that bad. On a scale of 1 to 10, it’s probably a 7 and I think we could take it up to like a 9.” So, how much MONEY will it take to lock Floyd for an MMA fight, possibly with Conor McGregor? “It’s all about presenting the right numbers and of course, they gonna present the right numbers and we gonna make it happen.” (TMZ Sports)
Recently, McGregor went to his Instagram page and appeared to suggest Floyd would never fight in the UFC.
I am happy for Floyd and his recent announcement that he is out of these current fight negotiations. It is the reason I never seeked the rematch in the first place. I was happy for him in retirement. My game is a very unforgiving one. It is not like other games. I understand completely him staying retired. I will now carry on in my negotiations and see where it goes. Have a great retirement Junior. Now come here and give your old man a hug for old times sake. I’m proud of you son. Yours truly, Senior.
