Brooklyn, NY – A Brooklyn teen by the name of Jeremiah Dickey was reportedly shot and killed in his neighborhood as he rapped on Facebook Live.

According to CNN, the New York City police department said officers were dispatched near the corner Elton Street and New Lots Avenue on Tuesday (February 4) around 6:45 p.m. local time. There, they discovered the 19-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his head.

He was rushed to Brookdale University Hospital where he died.

In the since-removed Facebook Live video, Dickey sat in a car and rapped along to a song for roughly 35 seconds. He took a look around and suddenly, five continuous gun shots rang through the air. The phone fell and the screen went black as “30” by Brooklyn rapper Bizzy Banks kept on playing.

“He was a good person,” the victim’s sister Melissa Dickey told The New York Daily News.“I don’t know what happened. I have no idea who did this to him.”

No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
