Alicia Keys was feeling the warmth after she posted a tweet praising the late XXXTENTACION.

On Friday (January four), the Grammy Award-winning singer shared a photograph of herself and her son sitting on the piano as she carried out a canopy of X’s track, “What Are You So Afraid Of” off his posthumous Skins album.

“Such a vibe!!!” she wrote. “Big like to the gifted @xxxtentacion!! Gone too quickly.”

Almost instantly, folks began calling her out for supporting an alleged abuser. Subsequently, Keys deleted the tweet.

X was arrested on costs of home violence in 2016 however the case was closed following his June 2018 homicide. 

X’s former girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, accused the slain 20-year-old of abusing her whereas she was pregnant along with his little one. As a consequence, he was charged with aggravated battery of a pregnant lady, home battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering. The case was formally closed final July.
