New York, NY – A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and Lil Uzi Vert are donating money to UNICEF USA in an effort to provide aid to the Bahamas following the disatrous Hurricane Dorian. A Boogie has launched a CrowdRise fundraiser and donated $50,000 to kick off his charitable cause.

Uzi has promised to match every additional dollar raised up to $50,000 as part of the fundraiser. If the crowdfunding campaign reaches its goal, a potential $150,000 will end up being donated to UNICEF USA.

“The Bahamas need our help, man,” A Boogie said in a press release. “You got kids and families left with nothing out there. We got to show love and support in any way we can to help rebuild that beautiful place. Every little thing helps.”

Hurricane Dorian devasted the Bahamas in August, becoming the worst disaster in Bahamian history in the process. The hurricane killed at least 50 people and more than 1,000 are still listed as missing.
