This week, we have new albums from Summer Walker — one of the more exciting young singers — and Diana Ross, who released her first album in over a decade.

New Music Friday is pretty quiet this week. The biggest release of the week comes from Summer Walker and her sophomore album Still Over It, the sequel to her 2019 debut Over It. The new album features appearances from Cardi B, SZA, Ari Lennox, Pharrell, and more.

The other big release comes from a legacy artist: Diana Ross released Thank You, her first new album in 15 years (since 2006’s I Love You.)

On the hip-hop side, we got new releases from Terrace Martin (who got.a feature from Kendrick Lamar); a new mixtape from Aminé; a couple of songs from Travis Scott; a sequel from Key Glock; and the debut project from Bronx drill spitter Kay Flock.

Rounding out the week’s releases is the soundtrack to Blade Runner: Black Lotus, Dana Williams’ new mini Christmas project, and more.
