Rize Festival will take place for the first time in 2018 in replacement V Festival, which ended after 22 years.

And now the line-up for the exciting new festival has been announced, with Liam Gallagher, Stereophonics, James Bay, Bastille, Rita Ora, Manic Street Preachers, Rag’N’Bone Man and Craig David Presents TS5 among the impressive acts to perform.

Other confirmed acts across the weekend include Years & Years, Plan B, Raye, MNEK, Disciples, Lewis Capaldi, Nina Nesbitt, Tom Grennan, Example & DJ Wire, Tokio Myers, Sinead Harnett, Jacob Banks and The Manor.

Tickets for Rize go on sale on Friday 2 March at 9.30am from http://www.rizefestival.co.uk.

Last year, Richard Branson announced the end V Festival on its website, saying 2017 was the brand’s last festival.

“V Festival has always been a special weekend for everyone at Virgin,” the statement said on Virgin’s blog.

“We’ve been proud to sponsor V Festival for the past two decades and there have been some incredible performances on the stage.

“Now, after 22 very enjoyable and successful years, 2017 was Virgin’s last V Festival.

“Being part V Festival has been an honour and there are some amazing moments that will stay with me forever – including introducing Paul Weller and welcoming V2 Records’ first signing The Stereophonics to a massive audience.

“Working on V Festival has been a brilliant journey filled with great people, fun times and exceptional music.
