It comes as no surprise that   has retained his top spot once again with his Vegas residency, numerous headlining slots at festivals, and countless hits, including his most recent effort: . The Chainsmokers have had one hell a ride with their hit single, “” ficially in the top 40 charts for a full year and their debut album, , landing the #1 spot on Billboard’s top 200 chart.

Many are more surprised about Marshmello’s spot on the list, however, the masked star’s channel has over 5 million subscribers as mid-2017, and has accumulated over 700 million views so far. It is able to get an average 2.4 million views per day from different sources.

This generates an estimated revenue around $4,400 per day ($1.6 million per year) from the ads that appear on the videos. Marshmello makes most his income through performing in front crowds, selling music and from music royalties which earn him $2 – $10 million per year.
