Adele fans furious at not getting full refund despite Wembley concerts being cancelled

And it seems Adele fans set to attend the event have been let down all over again.

Taking to Twitter, many ticket holders vented their fury at not getting a full refund following the shock cancellation.

The £5.50 booking fee per ticket is non-refundable leaving many fans out pocket.

Eventim UK, the company that handled the event, released a statement revealing the reason they won't be returning the money.

"The booking fee is a charge to cover the costs our ticketing service," they said to Newsbeat.

"As a ticketing agency we booked, processed and delivered the tickets, this service has been provided to the customer."

"Hey @eventim_uk - why no refund on the booking fee for @Adele? That's an awful lot money still, for a show I didn't get to see,” one fan wrote.

Another added: "Surely if a gig is cancelled every customer should be refunded their full amount?"

"Losing out on £50 due to @Adele cancelling her show how @eventim_uk can keep the booking fee is beyond me," stated a third.

In the companies terms and conditions, it states: "We will use our reasonable endeavours to refund you the face value the ticket (excluding any booking fee, service charges, facility fee or any other fee) as soon as reasonably practicable."

UK Grime Artist Preditah Joins Beats 1's One Mix for an Exclusive Set

In the UK, there’s a sound growing. A sound with pulsating energy. Sharp, grim and unrelenting.

Grime is on the rise.

Originating in the early 2000’s London, the genre picked up sounds from UK electronic music styles like garage and jungle, while taking influence from raggae and hip hop as well. Grime is really a beast its own though; dark, gritty and visceral. Lyrics, particularly in rap, ten play with the rest the soundscape to create a unique and absolutely captivating atmosphere.

You may have heard popular grime artists like Stormzy, Skepta and Dizzee Razcal in the headlines. More so, grime made global waves when Kanye West highlighted the grime scene at the BRIT Awards, and when Drake sampled a line f Skepta’s “That’s Not Me” on “Used To,” with Lil Wayne.

Grime has deep roots, and it’s flourishing where it started, in the UK.

One today’s biggest figures in grime is Nathan Gerald, better known by his stage name Preditah. Born and bred in Birmingham, Preditah began spiralling into stardom in 2011 when famed English MC JME gave him a shout out on Twitter. He cemented his status with his debut EP, Solitaire. From there on out, he’s continued to impress with consistent releases and fresh production. While he is a true grime enthusiast, his sound is layered and diverse, flowing through many genres like  garage, 2-step, house and bassline.

Preditah will be performing a special set for Apple Music’s Beats 1 One Mix today. Expect some Preditah’s best remixes alongside tracks from DJ Q, Krept & Konan, Bugzy Malone, Jammz and many more. Tune in to hear what the hype is all about.

Air Dates:
Friday 27th October 2017 - 16:00 LA / 19:00 NY / 00:00 UK
Saturday 28th October  2017 - 04:00 LA / 07:00 NY / 12:00 UK

Apart from his distinct production, fans revere him for his gripping live performances. In particular, he’s toured with Skepta, and played a few electrifying Boiler Room sets, like this one in Leeds.

Preditah has raw talent, bringing forth a bass heavy sound that is menacing, rough, almost jagged; yet melodic and ten times even minimal. He has a pretty unique style, one that continues to catch ever more attention.

‘Stranger Things’ Star Finn Wolfhard Won’t Stand For Fanatics Harassing The Cast

That moment when a whole child has to put you in your place.

Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard hopped on Twitter yesterday to back down some the show’s more overzealous “fans.” After becoming aware that his castmates were being harassed online and IRL, he addressed the issue in a tweet directed at fanatics. “Hey everybody! I don’t wanna ex-communicate anyone from this fandom, but if you are forreal you will not harass my friends, or co-workers. Y’all know who you are,” the 14-year-old wrote on his personal account.

Frustrated as all get out, he followed up with another message, because why is this even an issue in the first place, amirite? “Why I even have to tweet that, I don’t know. Anyone who calls themselves a ‘fan’ and actively goes after someone for literally acting and doing their job is ridiculous. Think b4 ya type boiiii,” he wrote and the whole internet felt him on that one.

Stranger Things is a Netflix original that tells the story a kid who goes missing in a town haunted by supernatural forces, government experiments, and a very odd girl. Get into it and please, leave the kids alone.

Jay-Z’s new album 4:44: Rapper confirms mother Gloria Carter is a lesbian in lyrics fro

Jay-Z's new album 4:44 has caused a stir in more ways than one, and many fans have been quick to speculate on what the lyrics really mean.

In lyrics from track number three, Smile, the rapper has revealed that his mother is a lesbian and is in a same-sex relationship.

Beyoncé's husband is heard rapping: "Mama had four kids but she's a lesbian/Had to pretend so long, that she's a thespian.

"Don't matter to me if it's a him or her/I just want to see you smile through all the hate."

Fans believe the song details Gloria’s plans to talk to her son about her sexuality, as she’s heard reading: "The world is changing and they say it's time to be free/But you live with the fear just being me.

"Living in the shadow feels like the safe place to be/No harm for them, no harm for me/But life is short, and it's time to be free."

It had been rumoured a number years ago that Ms Carter was in a long-term relationship with a former teacher, Dania Diaz.

Smile lyrics

Verse 1: JAY-Z]
Slammin' Bentley doors like we invented doors
20 years ago we drove Bentley Azures
We drinkin' Cris stylin', yeah
Kept the tray on me like Chris Paulin'
Drinkin' Ace Spades like it's codeine now
Tryna put a million on the whole team now
Push through the pain so we can see new life
So all the ladies havin' babies, see a sacrifice
Mama had four kids, but she's a lesbian
Had to pretend so long that she's a thespian
Had to hide in the closet, so she medicate
Society shame and the pain was too much to take
Cried tears joy when you fell in love
Don't matter to me if it's a him or her
I just wanna see you smile through all the hate
Marie Antoinette, baby, let 'em eat cake

Chorus: JAY-Z & Stevie Wonder]
Bad times turn to good memories, smile
Even when I'm gone and you remember me, smile
Good times never fade away, smile
Even if I'm not with you here today, smile
Good morn' or evening, friends
Here's your friendly announcer
